Registration

Programs Offered

  • We will be offering Canskate, Starskate and Senior programs.

  • 2 sessions of Canskate will be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you wish to skate on both Wednesday and Friday- please sign up for the same time slot on both nights. 

  • Starskate sessions will be offered on- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (Mount Brydges) and Saturday (Glencoe).

  • Senior sessions will be offered on -Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday ( Mount Brydges) and Saturday (Glencoe).

​Online Registration 

  • A $150 deposit per skater is due at time of registration. Your skater will not be allowed on the ice without payment. 

  • Registration closes December 15, 2023, or when we reach our maximum numbers allowed.

  • Payments are to be made by e-transfer to mbsc1974@gmail.com

  • Remaining payments can be made by monthly e-transfer on November 1 and December 1, 2023.

  • All registration fees must be paid in full by December 1, 2023. 

  • Pop Concert will be held on Friday December 22nd, 2023

  • A Year end Carnival is planned for Saturday April 6th 2024

Refund Policy

New skaters wishing to withdraw from the program may only apply for a refund during the first 30 days after they start skating. Please note that the $59 Skate Canada fee/Safe sport fee and a $50 administration charge will not be refunded.  Returning skaters may be eligible for a partial refund if they are injured or sick for 3 or more consecutive weeks and are unable to skate. The amount of the refund will be determined on a case by case basis, depending on the amount of time away.

MBSC Fundraising

  • At registration, you will be required to purchase $100 of raffle tickets for each skater; a maximum of $200 per family.  You will receive tickets during the second week of skating.

  • Information about the draw will be held at Carnival in 2023.

  • No replacement will be made for lost ticket books.

MBSC Skate Canada Fee

Each member must pay a $59.00 Skate Canada Fee which we submit to Skate Canada.  This fee must be submitted by every skater as we are a Skate Canada Sanctioned Club.

Volunteer Policy

For Canskate the fee is $100.00 (2 hours), for Starskate the fee is $150.00 (3 hours) and for Senior the fee is $200.00 (4 hours).  

Throughout the season there will be volunteer opportunities (mainly assisting with Carnival preparation) and we will keep track when you have fulfilled your volunteer hours.  

All refunds will take place by e-transfer as soon as possible after Carnival.
